Kitchen Fish

Born and raised in the Swan Valley, our property ran along the banks of the Swan River. Freshwater creatures, including yabbies, tadpoles and long-necked turtles, were a constant source of fascination and inspiration.

My passion for marine life, combined with being an avid scuba diver, helped set my creative juices alight. Using found materials such as unused kitchen utensils, gardening tools and scraps of earthmoving equipment, I have brought these inspirations to life through sculpture.
